Direction National security was created for people who want to make their interests in defense and prevention of threats an idea for professional life. It is definitely worth getting an education in a development field that is so important in the context of contemporary civilization threats.


Who chooses studies in national security?

Candidates are operative, creative, resourceful, responsible and composed people. An important predisposition is the ability to work in a team, efficient functioning under time pressure, in a stressful situation. The ability to communicate precisely, make decisions, and control a group of people in a situation of emotional tension is also important. Particularly noteworthy are the studies targeted at employees and future personnel of the fire service, police or the Polish armed forces.

The studies are intended for candidates who want to acquire advanced and specialized knowledge in the field of National Security. In an uncompromising manner, we strive to make our students, under the supervision of professors, lecturers and trainers, become experts in the field of security. We pay special attention to practical classes, which is manifested in a huge variety of forms of education.

The aim of the field of study National security is equipping graduates with knowledge in the field of crisis management, public and international security. In the course of extensive education, students will learn how to predict hazards, how to analyze them, how to prevent them. They will learn the principles of organizing rescue operations. They will be able to organize activities that eliminate the effects of natural disasters, technical failures and terrorist activities.

Programs for the study of individual specialties in national security are developed in cooperation with practitioners and experienced employees of institutions implementing defense tasks. Part of the teaching staff are officers of special services, police, specialists in the field of defense.

Second-degree studies  - the form of education for which candidates with at least a first degree qualification are accepted, ending with obtaining a second degree qualification.

Engineering and Master's

Engineering studies atthe obtained bachelor's or engineer's diploma entitles you to undertake second-cycle studies (master). … A master's degree qualifies for undertaking third-cycle (doctoral) studies.


Postgraduate studies - a form of education other than higher education and doctoral studies, intended for candidates with at least a first degree qualification.
