Food technology and human nutrition

Graduation from the abovementioned the faculty gives qualifications to conduct educational classes in schools in accordance with the Regulation of the Ministry of National Education of 01 August 2017 regarding detailed qualifications required of teachers (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 1575, as amended). The content of education was developed in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of 25 July 2019 on the standards of education preparing for the teaching profession (Journal of Laws of 2019, item 1450, as amended).

TARGET AUDIENCE:

The studies are addressed to teachers intending to gain substantive and didactic knowledge
and methodical in the field of food technology and human nutrition; university graduates
with pedagogical preparation.

AIM OF STUDIES:

The program of the course is focused on the transfer, consolidation and extension of current knowledge and theoretical and methodical skills necessary to conduct educational classes, educational work and the implementation of the program content of vocational subjects in the field of food technology and human nutrition.

ORGANIZATION OF STUDIES:

  • The studies last 3 semesters and 380 hours.
  • On average, every two weeks (Saturday, Sunday).
  • Studies end with a thesis defense.
  • The graduate receives a post-graduate certificate in the field of Food Technology and Human Nutrition.

 

GRADUATE COMPETENCES:

These studies are qualifying. The graduate obtains qualifications to conduct educational classes in theoretical vocational subjects and practical classes, in basic vocational and technical schools, in the fields of education compatible or related to the postgraduate field of study. Studies allow to broaden the knowledge of scientific disciplines necessary to conduct classes. In addition to substantive preparation, they provide opportunities to improve methodical skills.

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION:

Persons who have completed higher or lower degree studies may apply for admission to Postgraduate Studies. Recruitment takes place without entrance exams. Due to the limited number of places, the order of applications decides about admission. The condition of admission to postgraduate studies is submission of a set of documents.

Fill out the APPLICATION FORM or complete all required documents and submit them to the Recruitment Office. You can do it: in person, via a third party, by traditional mail to the University's address (with the note Admissions Office),

Then you will receive a login and password for the Virtual Dean's Office (where you can find information about fees, class schedules, exam grades and important announcements).
