Public procurement

The issue of public procurement is undoubtedly one of the very complex issues, which is related to the necessity of cooperation of entities belonging to the public finance sector with entities of the private sector. The application of the Public Procurement Law requires not only in-depth knowledge of legal provisions, but also practical solutions used in this area. It is also extremely helpful to know the most common problems in the application of individual legal provisions and the practical ways of solving them. The application of the Public Procurement Law is of particular importance for entities applying for funds from the European Union budget.

 
 
 
 

TARGET AUDIENCE:

The studies are addressed to university graduates who want to gain or deepen their knowledge and competences in the field of the application of general provisions of the Public Procurement Law, procedures and procedures for awarding contracts in accordance with the PPL Act and legal protection measures applied in the PPL Act, and all employees working in public procurement .

AIM OF STUDIES:

The study program covers all the issues necessary to practice the profession of a public procurement specialist and practical skills in organizing the public procurement process. During their studies, students will learn both theoretically and practically the rules and procedures of awarding public contracts.

ORGANIZATION OF STUDIES:

  • The studies last 2 semesters and 206 hours.
  • On average, every two weeks (Saturday, Sunday).
  • Studies end with an oral exam.
  • A graduate receives a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies.

GRADUATE COMPETENCES:

  • representation of entrepreneurs and contractors submitting bids in the public procurement sector
  • control of the correctness of awarding public contracts
  • knowledge of the rules and procedures for awarding public contracts in a broad legal context, both under Polish and European Union law
  • knowledge of the specifics of public procurement procedures
  • and the related process of proper offer preparation

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION:

Persons who have completed higher or lower degree studies may apply for admission to Postgraduate Studies. Recruitment takes place without entrance exams. Due to the limited number of places, the order of applications decides about admission. The condition of admission to postgraduate studies is submission of a set of documents.

Fill out the APPLICATION FORM or complete all required documents and submit them to the Recruitment Office. You can do it: in person, via a third party, by traditional mail to the University's address (with the note Admissions Office),

Then you will receive a login and password for the Virtual Dean's Office (where you can find information about fees, class schedules, exam grades and important announcements).
