TARGET AUDIENCE:

The studies are intended for officers of uniformed services and employees of various levels of state and local administration. Studies are an excellent proposition for managerial staff of public and local administration (communes, poviats, voivodships) and all those interested in the problems of internal security in situations of threats to life, health, property of citizens and ensuring order, peace and public safety.
 

AIM OF STUDIES:

Crisis management, civil protection is a specialty that meets the expectations of the labor market. Crisis management is the activity of public administration bodies that is part of managing internal security. It consists in preventing crisis situations, preparing actions in the event of crisis situations, removing their effects and restoring resources and critical infrastructure. Classes in the form of exercises and workshops play an important role in the study program, during which students, through case studies describing real problem situations, strategic games, simulation games, etc., acquire practical skills necessary for their future professional work.

 

ORGANIZATION OF SCIENCE:

  • The studies last 2 semesters, 200 hours.
  • On average, every two weeks (Saturday, Sunday).
  • Studies end with an oral exam.
  • A graduate receives a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies.
 

GRADUATE COMPETENCES:

  • knowledge of methods of assessing threats and risks of internal security in crisis and emergency situations
  • knowledge of models and concepts of social security
  • the ability to efficiently manage teams, communicate with the environment and collect, prioritize, process and transfer information.

CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION:

Persons who have completed higher or lower degree studies may apply for admission to Postgraduate Studies. Recruitment takes place without entrance exams. Due to the limited number of places, the order of applications decides about admission. The condition of admission to postgraduate studies is submission of a set of documents.

Fill out the APPLICATION FORM or complete all required documents and submit them to the Recruitment Office. You can do it: in person, via a third party, by traditional mail to the University's address (with the note Admissions Office),

Then you will receive a login and password for the Virtual Dean's Office (where you can find information about fees, class schedules, exam grades and important announcements).
